As someone who hasn't completed a sketchbook since last April and rarely posts work in progress shots to the internet i've come up with a little project for myself. Since I use my Instagram account as an online portfolio, as many people do, I don't want to bombard it with unfinished work, but I would like to show my progress for those interested. So, I thought I would start a little blog series on here where I can talk about some of my illustrations step by step!
I thought i'd start with one of my most popular Inktober pieces from 2017 - my Swift. I created this pieces in a few hours, first sketching it out in pencil and then drawing in the detail with Derwent Graphic fine tip pens. I mostly uses 0.05 - 0.3 sized pens for my pointillism work.
So - let me know what you think to this little series and which pieces or mediums you'd like me to talk about.
